Today is the feast of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, and Meridith has graciously agreed to share her Facebook post for today:
Today is the feast of St Therese of Lisieux. A year ago I visited her childhood home, the convent where she rests and stayed at the retreat center next door. Her "little way" taught me that no good deed is too small if done with lots of love. And even the briefest of lives can change the world. Happy Thursday! It has been nearly 8 months since our pilgrimage in France.... I was wondering what your memories are of that experience... please comment to share them!
It was so nice to see many of you at our reunion last month! If you have not yet received copies of the group photos, please either comment here or email me, and I'll get them to you. And.... Here is the blog for the next adventure: 2016 Pilgrimage to the Holy Land http://holyland2016.weebly.com/ Let us keep one another in prayer. Bon jour, y'all! Let's get together on Sunday, February 15 after the 5:30pm Mass (6:45ish) for a little reunion! Please come to the Meeting Room (where we mostly met for French lessons(- bring your photos and stories! If you'd like to bring some food to share, great! But whether or not you bring photos, food, or just your wonderful self, please come! Home again safely, and thankful for your prayers. More will be added to the blog tomorrow, posts restored to the correct order, etc. Pilgrims: if you have a few photos to share, please email them to me. I'll also send you a message tomorrow with a link to our photo sharing site, from which I'll make a book of our journey. Where's my morning croissant? :-) With grateful hearts for a journey of discovery and delights, this morning we prepare to return home. Please pray for our safe travels. Merci beaucoup! |
